Privacy Policy

In short: FitCam uses your camera only while you are doing a try-on. Your video is processed live to dress you in the outfit and is not stored on FitCam's servers. We keep only what we need to run your account: your Google name, email and picture, and how many try-ons you have used. We never sell your data.

This policy explains how FitCam ("FitCam", "we", "us") handles your information when you use the FitCam browser extension and this website. FitCam is operated by Sachin Kumar, India. Contact: sachinkumarchahar567@gmail.com.

1. Information we collect

Account information (Sign in with Google): your name, email address, profile picture and Google account ID. We use this to create your FitCam account. We never see your Google password.
Try-on balance and usage: how many try-ons you have left, and for each try-on the date, time and length in seconds. We use this to run your balance, prevent misuse and control costs.
Camera video (during a try-on only): when you start a live try-on, your camera video is sent over an encrypted connection to our AI provider, Decart, which generates the video of you wearing the selected clothes in real time. FitCam does not record or store this video on its servers.
Product information: when you press Try-On, FitCam reads the product photo and title from the shop page you are on, prepares a clean picture of the garment in your browser, and sends it to the AI provider as the clothing reference.
Data stored only in your browser: your settings, your recent try-on history, recordings and photos of your try-ons, and any photo you choose to save. These stay on your device (Chrome storage) unless you download or share them yourself.

2. How we use information

To provide the try-on service and show your result.
To manage your account, free try-on and try-on balance.
To keep the service safe, stop abuse and limit costs (for example, daily limits).
To reply when you contact us.

We do not sell your personal data, use it for advertising, or use your camera video to train AI models.

3. Service providers we use

Decart processes the live camera video and garment image to create the try-on, under its own terms and privacy policy.
Cloudflare hosts our server and the database where your account and balance are stored.
Google provides Sign in with Google.
Optional tools you turn on yourself: if you add your own Google Gemini or fal.ai key in FitCam settings, the images needed for those features (HD photo, fabric feel) are sent to that provider.
Payments (when packs launch): payments will be handled by a licensed payment gateway. We will not store your card or UPI details. This policy will be updated before payments go live.

4. How long we keep data

Account information: until you delete your account.
Try-on records: up to 12 months, then deleted or made anonymous.
Camera video: not stored by FitCam.

5. Your choices and rights

You can sign out at any time in FitCam settings.
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data by writing to sachinkumarchahar567@gmail.com. We aim to respond within 30 days.
You can delete everything stored in your browser by removing the FitCam extension.
You can block camera access at any time in your browser settings.

If you are in India, you have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. For any grievance about your personal data, contact our grievance contact: Sachin Kumar, sachinkumarchahar567@gmail.com.

5a. Users in the European Union, UK and other regions

If you are in the EU, EEA or UK, the GDPR / UK GDPR applies. We process your account data to provide the service you asked for (performance of a contract), your camera video only with your consent (you agree before the camera turns on, and you can stop any time), and usage records for security and cost control (legitimate interests). You have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Our service providers (Decart, Cloudflare, Google) may process data outside your country under their standard data-protection terms. Write to us at sachinkumarchahar567@gmail.com for any request. Users elsewhere (for example in the US) have the same choices: ask us to see or delete your data at any time.

6. Children

FitCam is meant for people aged 18 or above. Younger users may use it only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian. Please only use FitCam's camera features on yourself, or on people who have agreed to it.

7. Security

Connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Our AI-provider key is kept on our server and never placed inside the extension. Access tokens for try-ons expire within about a minute. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

8. Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and change the date at the top. Important changes will also be shown in the extension.
